The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet awarded $ 18,264 in County Road Aid Emergency Funds to Ballard County.

The funding will allow the county to replace two steel culverts that, over time have deteriorated with poly-coated metal that will have a longer lifespan.

Those being replaced include a 48-inch culvert on Bobby Hook Lane just south of East Clarkline Road  and one on Jim Ireland Road just north of U.S. 60

KYTC will issue a check directly to the Ballard County Fiscal Court, which is responsible for supervising the project.
