The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board approved $4,551,159 for agricultural diversification and rural development projects across the commonwealth at its monthly board meeting.
Of that money, $2,500,000 was approved In state funds in the form of a participation loan to Poso Creek Family Dairy. The money will go to support the establishment of a 5,000-cow dairy farm in Fulton County.
Along with the money for the dairy farm in Fulton County, Robert W. Brown was approved up to $250,000 in state funds to build a USDA meat processing facility in Graves County.
