Several McCracken County High School students have been selected for the Governor's School for the Arts.

McCracken County High School students that were selected include Avery Boulton, Hannah Bryan, Kaitlyn Hall, Kailen McGregor, Stewart Tolar, Adyson Townsend, Jane Walsh, Olivia Watson, and Emily West.  

Students designated as alternates are Rachel Hobbs and Charlotte Polete.

Every summer for over three decades, the Governor's School for the Arts and their faculty have guided over two hundred of Kentucky's young artists through an intense three week program of arts instruction. 

For three weeks at the University of Kentucky, the sophomores and juniors will study nine different arts disciplines, including architecture and design, creative writing, dance, drama, instrumental music, musical theatre, and new media.
