The Friends of Land Between the Lakes is inviting the public to help with a shoreline cleanup project on Saturday, January 22.
Volunteers will help to remove debris left behind from the recent tornadoes at the Twin Lakes Backcountry Camping Area and Boat Ramp from 9 am until 12 pm.
Officials said this will be a more intense cleanup of debris, and asked the public to be prepared with proper clothing along with boots, gloves and eye protection.
The event was expected to take place on January 15, but was rescheduled due to potentially bad weather.
Interested volunteers are asked to email volunteers@friendsoflbl.org.
