AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student

The AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student for the week of January 8th-12th  is Mario Rosas.  

Mario is a junior Welding student at the Mayfield – Graves County Area Tech Center.  He was nominated by his instructor, Katie Krill for being resilient, helpful and kind. Mario has worked from a very young age in various construction related fields from general construction to painting.  Until enrolling in the welding program at school, his welding knowledge had come from researching on the internet.  He describes the decision to take the class as one of the best things he’s done for himself. He plans to continue to learn as much as he can while in school and then further his education after high school and pursue a career in the welding field.
