AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student

The AGC of Western Kentucky Outstanding Tech Student for the week of December 4th - 8th is Kylen Smith. Kylen is a senior Carpentry student at the Mayfield – Graves County Area Tech Center. He was nominated by his instructor, Kevin Hutchens, for having a positive attitude, being a hard worker and a team leader, serving in the carpentry classroom as a teacher’s aide for beginning students. Kylen currently works at Walmart where he unloads semis and stocks shelves. His construction experience includes foundations and framing. He plans to pursue a career as a construction project manager.
