Keon Alexander “Blaze” Welker-Jones, infant son of Natalie Drue Welker and De’Vharius Keon Jones, both of Paducah, died Monday at Lourdes Hospital.
In addition to his parents, Keon is survived by grandparents, Michael and Nicole Jones, Michael and Julie Welker, and Deena Welker and James “Bo” Tucker; aunts and uncles, Mekinsey Welker, Lauren Welker, Isabella Hoskins, Dorothy Jones, Sierra Senter, Michael Jones, Jr., Kamrin Jones, RaSheed Jones, and Quamea Jones; great-grandparents, John and Ramona Welker, Carl and Gail Wilson, and Jesse and Sheila Hughes and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Samuel and Dorothy Jones, Margarette Mathews, and Floy Hoskins.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Beck officiating. Private burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery-Garden of Angels. Visitation will begin at 11am Friday at the funeral home.
