Road conditions have been constantly changing, water levels on individual roads could still fluctuate as runoff flows from higher elevations into already overloaded creeks, streams and ditches. Roads that have been open could flood again due to more rain, as well.

Do not drive into water that obstructs your view of the road surface, which could be washed out. Just a few inches of flowing water can float a vehicle off the roadway and into a dangerous situation.

McCracken County

KY 1255/Bonds Road has re-opened at the 2 mile marker. Water dropped off the road Friday morning.

As a reminder, asphalt paving continues along US 60/Jackson Street in Paducah, from 6:00 pm until 6:00 am until work is complete. This work begins Friday night between Joe Clifton Drive and Old Mayfield Road.

Marshall County

KY 1422/Benton-Tatumsville Rd closed between KY 95 and US 641.

KY 2595/Lakeview Church Road closed from 3 to 4 mile markers.

KY 1949/Wadesboro Road closed with erosion approaching a bridge between Slickback Road and Jackson School Road.

KY 795 has water over road at 3 mile marker.

Caldwell County

KY 276/Blackhawk Road is closed in southernmost Caldwell County at the Caldwell-Trigg county line. A culvert installed last September to allow the roadway to reopen to traffic has been taken out by floodwaters.

Livingston County

Washout on KY 937/Cut-Off Road near the intersection with KY 453.

KY 937 serves as a detour for KY 453 at this site due to a closure for bridge construction just south of Smithland.

Crittenden County

KY 855 in Crittenden County has reopened to normal traffic flow at the 5 mile marker.  Floodwaters dropped off the roadway this afternoon.

At this time all highways in Crittenden County that were impacted by floodwaters earlier in the week have reopened to traffic.

Lyon County

KY 778 CLOSED near Lyon-Trigg line in Lamasco by Washout

Carlisle County

KY 1620 CLOSED due to floodwaters at the 3 mile marker
KY 1820 is CLOSED due to floodwaters between the 1 to 3 mile marker at Mayfield Creek

The Carlisle County Highway Maintenance Crew also reports trees and limbs down around the county due to high winds.  Most highways in the county have been cleared, but drivers should be alert for limbs and other debris in roadways, as well as areas covered by floodwaters.

Trigg County

KY 126 has REOPENED to traffic between the 4 & 5 mile marker.  Repairs to the roadway were completed late this afternoon.

KY 1585 remains closed between the 0&1 mile marker due to a washout.

All other state highways in Trigg County are open at this time.  However, there continue to be a number of locations with erosion issues that will require attention.
