Expect Heavy Traffic for Concert at Graves Co. HS
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MAYFIELD, KY - State Police are cautioning drivers in Mayfield to be aware of potentially congested traffic for the Alabama concert at Graves County High School.

Independence Bank is celebrating the opening of its branch in Mayfield by bringing the country music legends to town. The gates open at 5pm, the show starts at 6:30 pm, and should end around 10 pm.

Police say drivers should expect heavy traffic by mid-afternoon, especially closer to the time of the concert. Congestion is also likely when everyone leaves after the show.

Kentucky State Police, Mayfield Police, and Graves County Sheriff's Department will periodically have traffic control measures in place to include limiting traffic to one way.

Drivers are asked to watch for pedestrians near roads in the area, including Highway 121. Anyone not attending the concert is asked to avoid the immediate area if possible, especially during the anticipated arrival and departure times of attendees.
