Prevallet Named New Massac Girls Basketball Coach

Jim Prevallet is the new girls basketball coach at Massac County High School. Prevallet takes over for Keith Shelton, who stepped down last month after nine seasons.

This is Prevallet's second stint with Massac. He coached the Lady Patriots from 1985-2002, winning 331 games. During his tenure as coach, Massac won 13 regional championships, five sectionals and qualified for the state tournament three times.

The Lady Patriots finished as state runners-up in 1986 and 1987.
