First Region basketball just got a lot more interesting.

According to multiple media outlets, Zion Harmon, considered by many to be the best player in the state of Kentucky and a top ten player in the nation, has enrolled at Marshall County High School.

Marshall County will be the fourth stop in four years for Harmon, who will be a sophomore next season. Harmon played at Adair County last season, where he averaged more than 30 points per game. He played at Bowling Green High School as an eighth-grader, helping lead the Purples to a state championship. He played as a seventh grader at a school in Tennessee.

Harmon, a 5'11" guard, will have to be cleared by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association before he can suit up for the Marshals this fall. Harmon currently has offers to play college basketball at Tennessee, Vanderbilt and SMU.
