Abby Shoulders, Lindsey Carroll and Hannah Jones each had a hit for the Lady Mustangs. Lakyn Largent took the loss. She gave up 4 runs on 12 hits over 7 innings.

Male (26-4) pounded out 12 hits on its way to beating McCracken County (29-9). The Bulldogs, knocked out of the state tournament by McCracken County each of the past three years, advanced to face No. 20 North Laurel (28-6) at 9 am CDT Friday in the second round of the double-elimination event.
