Marshall Boys Basketball Coach Gillespie Let Go

Marshall County High School has begun the search for a new boys basketball coach.

According to Athletic Director Jeff Stokes, Gus Gillespie will not return next season. Gillespie reportedly told his players that he had been fired.

Gillespie went 293-113 over 13 seasons as head coach of the Marshals. Marshall County finished 21-11 this season, falling to McCracken County 47-30 in the first round of the 1st Region Tournament.
