McCracken County Mustang head coach Jack Haskins has been released from the hospital. Haskins collapsed on the sideline during Friday night's game at Marquette Stadium, as the Mustangs remained undefeated with a 72-27 victory over Fort Campbell.

The game was paused in the third quarter when Haskins fell to the ground. Coaches helped him onto a cart and he was transported by ambulance to Lourdes Hospital. He was evaluated and underwent several tests over the weekend until his release on Sunday afternoon.

High blood pressure is believed to have led to his collapse, according to Eric Chumbler, radio voice of the Mustangs. It's unclear when Haskins will be cleared to return to practice.

The Mustangs (5-0) were expected to have little trouble with the Falcons (1-5), as they used a 58-7 run to seal the win.  Fort Campbell did take a brief lead on a 40-yard Christian Berry touchdown run to put the Falcons up 20-14 with 11:51 left in the second quarter.

But the Mustangs responded just one minute later with a 46 yard touchdown reception to Elijah Macklin. That gave the Mustangs a 21-20 lead and they would never trail again.
