Murray High's girls won its first-ever team title at Saturday's Class 1A KHSAA State Track and Field Meet in Lexington.

The Lady Tigers won the discus, long jump, triple jump and high jump to go along with wins in the 4×100 and the 300-meter hurdles. They finished 41 points ahead of second place St. Henry in the 41-team meet.

Junior Gracie Campbell took home the hurdles, triple jump and high jump titles for Murray.

Lexington Christian won the boys' state championship, edging out Holy Cross 64-63. Murray's boys finished fourth with 54.5 points.

Murray's Malik Britt-Taylor won the 300-meter hurdles. Murray's team of Tanner Travis, Peyton Glynn, Des'Jahvonni Miles and Malik Britt-Taylor won the 4x100 relay with a new 1A state record of 42.95 seconds.
