Calloway County senior Haley Glynn was chosen as the winner of the Kentucky high school basketball centennial logo contest, as chosen by the Centennial Committee, a collaborative effort between the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches, Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame and the KHSAA.

The winning logo will be used for promotional purposes during the yearlong centennial celebration of Kentucky’s original high school championship by the KHSAA, KHSBHF and the KABC, beginning with the 2017 KHSAA/Whitaker Bank Boys’ Sweet 16® and culminating with the 2018 boys’ basketball tournament.

Glynn will receive a cash prize of $250 for her winning design, which was selected from a pool of 81 entries during the two-month submission period. A standout track and field athlete since the eighth grade, Glynn has won four KHSAA regional championships while also qualifying for nationals as a member of the Kentucky Elite club team.

As a freshman in 2014, Glynn helped Murray High School win the 4×100 relay at the KHSAA 1A State Meet. As a junior at Calloway County, Glynn placed third in the triple jump at the 2016 KHSAA 2A State Meet.
