Calloway County finished seventh at this weekend's KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship Tournament. The Lakers duo of Cody Jackson and Trevor Salyers finished with a two-day total of 19 pounds 2 ounces. Jackson earned the big bass honor, catching a 6 pound 10 ounce bass on Friday.

Trigg County's Douglass Colson and Jordan Despain finished 10th with a total of 15 pounds, 12 ounces. Marshall County's Colton Story and Peyton Porter finished 15th with a total of 14 pounds, 12 ounces. Cole Emerson and Zach Martin of Calloway County finished 19th with a total of 13 pounds, 3 ounces. Marshall County's Barrett Washburn and Austin Wade finished 21st with a total of 11 pounds, 9 ounces. Dalton Choate and Chad Johnson of Trigg County finished 41st with a total of 4 pounds, 13 ounces.

Billy Hardison and Nathan Flener of Muhlenberg County won the tournament with a total of 33 pounds, 11 ounces. The two-day tournament was held Friday and Saturday on Kentucky Lake near Kentucky Dam Marina.
