3 Local Players, 2 Coaches Head to All-Star Game

Graves County High School 6’11” center Chris Vogt and Eagle boys head coach Josh Frick have been invited to participate in the 2017 Holloway Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Basketball Game known as the “Battle at the Border.” The two are the only boys basketball representatives of Region 1 in far western Kentucky.

They received invitations from Kelly T. Ward, assistant game director for the event. Graves County athletic director Khristain Elliott said the game will take place in April. It serves as a showcase of outstanding high school talent.

Murray High School coach Rechelle Turner and 6’2” center Maddie Waldrop were invited to participate, as well as Marshall County 6’2” center Hannah Langhi. The three are the only Region 1 representatives, according to the roster Ward released.
