Marshall County 2016 Hall of Fame Class Announced

The Marshall County Athletic Foundation has announced its Class of 2016 Hall of Fame inductees. This year's class includes Allan Hatcher, who led the Marshals basketball team to four regional titles and one state semifinal appearance in six seasons at Marshall County. Roderick Thomas has been named the new head boys' basketball coach at Paducah Tilghman High School. Thomas and his wife posted messages on social media Wednesday afternoon announcing the hiring. The National Federation of State High School Associations has told its members to adopt a rule regulating the number of pitches a high school pitcher can throw in a game. After 14 years as head boys basketball coach at Paducah Tilghman, Brad Stieg has resigned. Stieg is reportedly taking over as principal at Tilghman's alternative school. The Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association has released its 2016 All-State teams. The KBCA also named Hopkinsville High School's Easton McGee Kentucky's 2016 Mr. Baseball.
