Agnew scored the Salukis' first two touchdowns on runs of 63 and 45 yards in the first quarter when Southern Illinois had a 228-40 edge in yards on its way to a total of 546. Agnew finished with 145 yards rushing on seven carries and added 62 yards receiving on a screen pass from Mark Iannotti for a second-quarter score.
Iannotti, a transfer from Eastern Michigan, also threw 10 yards to MyCole Pruitt for Iannotti's first collegiate touchdown pass. Iannotti was 11 of 16 for 181 yards passing, including an interception.
