Murray State coach Steve Prohm has signed junior college transfers Bryce Jones and A.J. Patty to play for the Racers.

Jones, a 6-foot guard, played the past two years at Jones County Junior College in Mississippi and led the Bobcats in scoring at 19.4 points per game last season. Jones County won the NJCAA national championship during Jones' freshman season.

Patty, a 6-8 forward, averaged 12.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game last season to help Vincennes University in Illinois start 32-0 and earn its second straight NJCAA tournament appearance.

Prohm said Monday in a release that "these young men are used to winning and know what it takes. They'll be welcome additions in our program that has a culture of winning championships."
