Jarvis Williams scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting and pulled down five rebounds to lead Murray State to an 89-56 win against Brescia University on Thursday night.

Jonathan Fairell and Cameron Payne each added 15 points for the Racers (2-1), with Fairell also grabbing a game high 12 rebounds. Justin Seymour and T.J. Sapp would each finish with 10 points for Murray State.

Kyle Nixon and Nick Young each finished with 11 points to lead Brescia, whose offense was plagued by turnovers and poor shooting much of the night, committing 26 total giveaways while shooting just 40.4 percent from the field.

Murray State was never threatened by the Bearcats, beginning the game on a 24-2 run, eventually pushing their lead as high as 38 in the second half.
