Fulton Scores 5 Runs in 9th to Beat Chiefs 7-6

FULTON - A walk-off single propelled Fulton to a decisive, dramatic victory over Paducah, 7-6 Monday night. The Railroaders trailed 6-2 going into the bottom of the ninth inning, but scored five runs to win the game. RJ Green won it with an RBI single.

Hayden Fox pitched the Railroaders to victory. He surrendered no runs on no hits over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Blake Wheeler threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Caleb Neal started the game for Fulton. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out four.

Isaiah Glidden took the loss for the Chiefs. He surrendered no runs on one hit, walking one. John Dowless started the game for Paducah. He went six innings, allowing one run on seven hits and striking out four. 

The Railroaders collected 11 hits on the day. Green and Sam Stohr had three hits each.

Paducah racked up eight hits on the day. Brandon Kelly, Keyaunte Jones, and Kevin Brenning each collected multiple hits.
