The Paducah Chiefs extended their winning streak to three games with an 8-7 win over Madisonville Sunday night. With the win, the Chiefs improved to 7-14 on the season and are just a game out of fifth place in the Ohio Valley League standings.

Each team had 10 hits for the game. The Chiefs scored four runs in the fifth inning to take an early lead.

Jason Priest and Davis Elliott both went deep, Davis Sims went 2-4 for the Chiefs. Peyton Sockwell was 1-3 with 2 RBI. Nathan Williams finished 1-4 with 2 RBI.

Brandon Calia picked up the win for Paducah. He went six innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts. 

Saturday, The Chiefs beat the Stallions at Muhlenberg 13-5, after they handed the league-leading Hopppers only their second loss of the season Friday at Hopkinsville, 14-10.

The Chiefs are on the road tonight as they face the Dubois County Bombers. They'll be back at Brooks Stadium this week for home games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with game times at 6:15.
