Chiefs Pound Railroaders 16-6

PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah Chiefs pounded out 18 hits on their way to a 16-6 win against Fulton Sunday night at Brooks Stadium.

Brandon Kelley went 3-for-6 with 2 RBI for the Chiefs. Christian Dominguez was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Nick Shumaker went 2-for-5 with 3 RBI. Dixon Craft finished 4-for-6 with 3 RBI and Tyler Hubbard was 2-for-3 with 1 RBI.

The Railroaders were led by Zell Walker, who finished 2-for-5 with 2 RBI. Will Acuff was 1-for-4 with 1 RBI.

Jacob Sawyers picked up the win for Paducah. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits with 4 strikeouts. Noah Stern took the loss. He pitched 2 innings, surrendering 7 runs on 5 hits with 4 walks.

The Chiefs (17-20) travel to Madisonville tonight. They return home Tuesday night, as they host Fulton (17-20).

All Chiefs home games start at 6:30. Tickets are only five dollars, and chair seats for ten dollars.
