Chiefs Pick up 12-8 Road Win at Dubois County

DUBOIS COUNTY - Paducah used a five-run 7th inning to beat Dubois County 12-8 Saturday night at League Stadium.

Grayson Taylor hit a home run and finished with 2 RBI. Ja'lil Akbar was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Drew Hudson finished 1-for-5 with 2 RBI, and Carson Shacklett was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI.

Marcus Hill led Dubois County, going 1-for-5 with 2 RBI. Chase Hug was 2-for-2 with 1 RBI.

Sawyer Smallwood picked up the win for the Chiefs. He gave up 6 runs on 9 hits with 2 strikeouts.

Bennett Shoptaw took the loss for Dubois County. He gave up 6 runs over 6 hits with 3 strikeouts.

The Chiefs (8-4) play at Muhlenberg County Tuesday night. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm.
