Chiefs Fall to Flash at Home 13-5

PADUCAH, KY - Paducah had more hits but Henderson scored more runs.

A five-run first inning led the Flash over the Chiefs 13-5 Friday night at Brooks Stadium. The Chiefs lost despite out-hitting Henderson 11 to eight.

Trevor Nicholson was credited with the victory for thr Flash. He went five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out four. Kelly Jones threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Jones recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save.

Stone Selby took the loss for Paducah. He went three and a third innings, allowing nine runs on four hits and striking out three.

Nick Shumaker and Brandon Kelly all collected multiple hits for Paducah. Shumaker led Paducah with three hits in five at bats.

Zach Smith, Bradley Gray, and Nolan Fertig each managed multiple hits for Henderson.
