Chiefs Fall at Home to Henderson 3-1

PADUCAH - Both teams were strong on the hill on Sunday, but Henderson was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a 3-1 victory over Paducah Sunday at Brooks Stadium.

Paducah lost despite out-hitting Henderson nine to seven.

Braden White led the Flash to victory on the mound. He lasted six innings, allowing six hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one. Dillon Day and Matthew Craven entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Day recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Mason Vineyard took the loss for Paducah. He allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Tyler Hubbard, Nick Shumaker, and John Mitchum all had multiple hits for Paducah. Mitchum, Shumaker and Hubbard each managed two hits.

Paul Haupt went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson.
