The Dubois County Bombers defeated the Paducah Chiefs 8-2 Tuesday night by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard.

The Bombers had 12 hits in the game. Jordan Libman, Philip Archer, Jordan Cozart, Bryce Krizan, and Brandon Smith each collected multiple hits for Dubois County. Smith, Krizan, Cozart, Archer, and Libman each managed two hits to lead the Bombers.

Nick Shumaker led Paducah with one run batted in. He went 1-for-4 on the night.

Chance Hitchcock earned the win for Dubois County. He threw six and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, five hits, and striking out one. Three relievers helped the Bombers close out the victory. Willie Poe threw one inning. Blake Clynes took the loss for the Chiefs. He tossed six innings, giving up five runs, nine hits, striking out three, and walking one.

The Chiefs (7-10) host Dubois County (13-1) tonight at Brooks Stadium. Thursday the Chiefs will host Madisonville, and Muhlenberg will be in town Sunday night.

All Chiefs home games start at 6:30. Tickets are only five dollars, and chair seats for ten dollars.
