The Paducah Chiefs are now two games below .500 after dropping two games at home to Owensboro Tuesday night at Brooks Stadium.
The RiverDawgs won the first game 7-4. Paducah committed 4 errors. Owensboro broke a 4-4 tie with 3 runs in the seventh inning.
Bailey Falkenstein homered and finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for Owensboro. Josh Bennett was 3-for-3 with 3 RBI.
Bo Robison picked up the win. He gave up no runs on 1 hit with 1 strikeout. Jacob Ehling took the loss. He surrendered 3 runs on 4 hits with 3 strikeouts.
Alan Roden led the Chiefs at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 1 RBI. Nick Rucker was 2-for-4.
In the second game, Owensboro held off Paducah 7-6, despite committing 4 errors on the night.
The Chiefs scored four runs in the final inning, but the RiverDawgs scored five.
Kyle Hogwood was 1-for-4 with 2 RBI for Owensboro. Parker Stahlman was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.
Drake Hamil got the win, giving up just 1 run on 1 hit with 2 strikeouts. James Dodd took the loss. He gave up 5 runs on 5 hits with 2 strikeouts.
Drew Hudson was 1-for-4 with 2 RBI for Paducah. Lofton Pigg finished 1-4 with 1 RBI.
