The Paducah Chiefs beat Hoptown 10-5 Wednesday night at Brooks Stadium in a game that was called in the fifth inning due to bad weather.

The Chiefs built a 5-0 lead after the first inning. Both teams scored five runs in the fourth inning.

Blake Bagenstos was the winning pitcher for Paducah. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing no runs on no hits, striking out two and walking one.

Will Nash took the loss for Hoptown. He surrendered 10 runs on 10 hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Paducah racked up 10 hits in the game. Brenton Tidd and Bryson Bloomer each managed multiple hits. Tidd went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Chiefs in hits.

Micah Genter led Hoptown Hoppers with two hits in three at bats.
