College baseball will be played in Paducah this summer after all.

The Kentucky Prospects Collegiate Baseball League will begin on Monday, June 29th at Brooks Stadium.

The league will consist of two teams (National & American) comprised of approximately 40 collegiate level players primarily from the western Kentucky region. Players from junior college to the Division 1 level will play in the league.

Games are scheduled for every Monday and Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for six weeks. Make up games will be played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if needed.

There will be 10 league games followed by a best of three games playoff series beginning the week of August 3.

Brooks Stadium usually hosts summer games with the Paducah Chiefs in the Ohio Valley League, but those games were suspended in late April.
