At a press conference held at the
future signature location for Independence Bank in Mayfield,
President Darvin Towery announced the plans to host a free outdoor
concert in celebration of their new location - Revolution Square. The
headlining talent for the "Sounds of Independence" will be the
legendary country music band Alabama.
The concert will take place on
Saturday, August 12 in Mayfield. The venue is still being
determined. The concert will be outdoors rain or shine.
“Since entering the market in 2016,
Independence Bank has seen tremendous growth,” Towery said. “This
free concert is a thank you to our customers and the Mayfield
community for welcoming us with open arms.”
The new location, Revolution Square
will be a permanent office for Independence Bank, who is currently
working out of a temporary location on Charles Drive. It will be a
one-story replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Construction
is being led by Artisan Contractors and the estimated completion is
expected the end of June.
