William Kelly Daniel ‘Bill’ Jr., 71, of West Paducah, KY, passed away at 3:12 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes.
Born January 16, 1946 to the late William Kelly Daniel Sr. and Rebecca Smith Daniel in New Albany, MS. Bill was a graduate of Heath High School, attended Murray State University and served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1970 serving in both Vietnam and Germany. He retired from TVA as operating engineer after 31 years. Bill was a resident of the Grahamville community where he was a wonderful friend and neighbor to all. He was a member of Newton Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of UK basketball.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Daniel Neihoff and husband Jason of West Paducah, KY; son, Chris Daniel and wife Jennifer of Berea, KY; two step grandduaghters, Joylene Neihoff and Kristin Howe; three sisters, Linda K. Hines and husband Ronald of Fort Worth, TX, Betty S. Campbell of Knoxville, TN, Jane Bevill and husband DeWayne of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Jerry H. Daniel and wife Theresa of Minden, NV, Freddy J. Daniel and wife Deb of Ventura, CA; several nieces and nephews; special dear friend and companion, Dianne Stone Carter of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Lewis Howe Daniel; step-son, Gary Howe; step-grandson, Scott Howe; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Brooks Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
