William Edward Shelton, Jr. 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:08 P.M. Monday, July 20, 2020 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Eddie was born in Paducah on January 2, 1948 to William and Faye Shelton. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. Eddie will be remembered as a man who had a positive impact on the lives of others, and for the enjoyment he found in farming.
Mr. Shelton is survived by his daughter, Frances Shelton, of Paducah; his son, William “Buck” Edward Shelton, III (Becky), of Paducah; his brother, Lester Thomas Shelton (Sharon), of Sharpe, Kentucky; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Shelton; his parents, William Edward Shelton and Faye Janice Angell Shelton.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Rev. Don Houston officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
