Wanda Kay Dowdy, 68, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 8:34 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 surrounded by her family, at her residence.
Mrs. Dowdy attended Gospel Mission Church and was a housewife.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Marvin Dowdy Sr.; three sons, Martin Wilson and Michael Wilson both of Paducah, Marvin Dowdy Jr. of Ledbetter; two step daughters, Reagan Owens and Shea Norton both of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Martin Wilson Jr, Matthew Wilson, Ayden Dowdy Jones, Landon Dowdy, Jaydon Dowdy, Alyssa Wilson, Kelsey Wilson and Piper Norton; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Kim Krawchuk and Darlene Mayfield both of Paducah; four brothers, James West, Joey West, Doug West and Donald West all of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Loretta Smith, Linda Vick and Barbara Jean West; two brothers, Johnny West and Ricky Pitsenberger. Her parents were, John Henry West and Mabelene Higgins West.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Dennis Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
