Virginia M. Walters, 102 passed away at 7:00PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Martin Health Care in Bloomington, IL.
Mrs. Walters, a native of Bloomington, was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah, KY and was retired as administrative assistant and finanacial secretary at Broadway United Methodist Church. She was a life member and past president of the Kentucky Chiropractic Auxillary; a life member of the Paducah Kennel Club; a member of the Perennial Garden Club; the Paducah Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Broadway United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Walters is survived by her brother, Francis H. Michaels of Carrollton, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and neohews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Truman D. Walters; her father, Lyle L. Michaels; her mother, Kathryn Wilson Michaels Olson; her step-father, Fred C. Olson; her niece, Penne Michaels Smith, her step-brother Fred Olson and her aunt, Erma Irvin.
She was a loving and caring person to her many friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
Memorial services will be at a later date at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
