Tommy Troutman age 76, Paducah, KY passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Tommy was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School in 1960 and Murray State University in 1964. He formerly worked for National Life & Accident Insurance Company and was a Real Estate agent and broker. Tommy retired as deputy clerk at the Property Valuation Administration Office of McCracken County and also worked in the McCracken County Court Clerks Office. He loved music and was the drummer for “The Rivals” band that was formed in1961. The band performed at many college and company functions. The Rivals Band reunited in 2015 with the orginal members to record music. Tommy was a devoted fan of University of Kentucky Basketball and St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. Tommy was a loving husband and dad. To his grandkids, he was known as ” Poppy” and a true friend to those that knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Thurman Troutman; one daughter, Tina Troutman Elliott and husband, Mike of Graves County; two sons, Mike Troutman and wife, Adrianna of Lone Oak and David Troutman and wife, Angela of Paducah, KY; one brother, Robert (Bob) Troutman and wife, Aeko of Paducah, KY; four grandchildren, Jack Elliott, Jessie Elliott, Chaney Troutman and Graham Troutman.
Preceding in death were his parents, Thomas Henry Troutman & Bonnie Lou Taylor Troutman.
Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral of Paducah with Paul Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
