Sylvia June Pace Crider, 81, of Paducah, passed away on September 22, 2016 in her home.
Visitation will be at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 12 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
June is preceded in death by her parents and by her first husband, Willard Scott Pace and second husband, James Carrol Crider.
June is survived by her four daughters; Donna Pace of Paducah, Phyllis Pace (Steven) Davis of Lady Lake Florida, Patti Pace (Nathan) Council of Scottsdale Arizona and Kaye Pace (Steve) Keiler of Paducah; two stepsons; Kent (Sherry) Crider of Cape Girardeau, MO and Steven (Donna) Crider of Marion, KY; grandchildren Carrie Mitchell, Jarrod Council, Justin Crider, Krista Reed, Shana Storm, Eric Taylor, Adam Taylor, Kayla Downs, Kathryn Keiler, Zack Keiler, Kellye Harper and 20 great grandchildren; and her sister, Elizabeth Flournoy of Paducah and several nieces and nephews.
June and her family attended Southland Baptist Temple for the past 55 years where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher, Mission room attendant, on visitation teams, in the Bus Ministry and the Nursing Home Ministry. After the passing of her first husband, she began her career at Walmart where she was the OTC Manager in the pharmacy for 25 years. In addition, she was an avid collector of over 600 dolls. She was a gifted seamstress, devoted mother, loving wife and faithful follower of her Lord and Savior.
