Steve Walters

Steve Walters, age 67, died at his residence in Wickliffe, Kentucky on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Steve was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, serving as clerk.  He loved the Lord, was kind, helpful, and hard working.  He loved the outdoors and was a good neighbor.  Steve loved his Country and was concerned about the current political climate.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Cheryl Shemwell Walters of Wickliffe; his daughter, Melissa (Corey) Ballard of Blandville; his sisters, Brenda Hornback (Eddie Ray) of Madisonville, Kentucky and Velma Wilson (Mike) of LaCenter; his brother, Bob Walters (Susie) of Wickliffe; three grandchildren, Seth Ballard, Nathan Ballard, and Ruth Ballard.

Steve was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheryl Wallace; parents, William “Bill” and Ailene Pittman Walters; sister, Jean Carol Campbell: brothers, William Wayne Walters and Sherman Walters.

Funeral services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Revs. Troy Deweese and Brian Steward officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Blandville.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
