Steve Morris, 63, of Paducah, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Morris was a graduate of St. Mary High School and attended St. Matthews Lutheran Church. He was a member of the 17th Illinois Territorial Rangers re-enactment group. He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was a volunteer with the McCracken County Rescue Squad (DES), and Angel of Mercy Ambulance Service. Steve was an avid UK basketball fan, enjoyed researching family genealogy, gardening and being involved with his children’s sports, music and scouting activities.
Steve is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dickson Morris; their children, Samantha, Cameron and Kody Morris; two sisters, Ruth Harrington of Lexington, Kentucky and Kathy Green (Dan) of Scottsdale, Arizona; three nieces, Jennifer, Laura and Andra; a nephew, Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Victoria Barbara Snyder Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Marlin Otte and Pastor Colleen Winkler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
