Spencer M. Childers, age 59, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 2:31 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Childers was a retired Quality Control Manager with USEC and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran.
Spencer is survived by his wife, Libby Studdard Childers; one brother, Michael Childers of Decatur, AL; brother in law, Michael Studdard and wife Suzanne of Memphis, TN; two nephews, David Whitten and wife Sherry of St. Charles, MO, Daniel Studdard and wife Anna Beth of Memphis, TN; two nieces, Kim Whitten of Murray, KY and Sara Studdard of Memphis, TN; and his loving dogs, Lanis and Maisy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Ruth Newboles.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
There will be no services.
