Sondra E. Folsom, age 83, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Folsom was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, she was a retired school teacher with Walled Lake Schools in Walled Lake, MI and was a member of the Paducah Moose Lodge.
Mrs. Folsom is survived by her husband of 58 yrs. Leo Folsom; daughter, Tami Brewer and husband Keith of Paducah, KY; two sons, K.C. Folsom of Kalamazoo, MI and Mickey Folsom and wife Kristy of Berkley, MI; six grandchildren, Zac, Max, Cal, Jake, Zoe and Leo; two brothers, Tom Nelson of Paducah, KY and Don Nelson of Kalamazoo, MI; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. Nelson and Verna E. Kruger Nelson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. And from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
