Mrs. Shirley L. Jones, age 78 of Grand Rivers, KY died on Monday, May 21, 2018, at her home in Grand Rivers, KY.
Born Wednesday, March 6, 1940 in Paducah, KY, she was the daughter of the late Grundy Pendergrast and the late Nellie (Brasher) Pendergrast.
Surviving are daughter, Amanda Long of Grand Rivers, KY, sisters, Gail Lynch of Grand Rivers, KY and Yvonne Millikan of Lola, KY, grandchildren, Jesse Fondaw of Grand Rivers, KY, Bethany Fondaw of Paducah, KY, Rachel Jones of Cadiz, KY, Ashton Long of Smithland, KY, Ally Long of Smithland, KY, and great-grandchildren, Christian Jones of Cadiz, KY, Aydan Joiner of Cadiz, KY, Carter Joiner of Cadiz, KY, and faithful companion, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil L. Jones, Jr., son, Rodney L. Jones, daughter, Patricia Fondaw, sisters, Anita Skinner, Donna Jean Cooper, Kathy Smith and Glenda Stembridge.
A Graveside Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Paradise Cemetery, Grand Rivers, KY with Kenneth Millikan and Wayne Jones officiating.
Interment will follow.
No public visitation is scheduled for Mrs. Jones.
