Ms. Sara Jane Williams, 93 of Calvert City, KY died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky. She attended Indiana University and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Ms. Williams was retired as County Court Clerk for Kalamazoo County, MI.
Born Thursday, June 30, 1921 in Mansfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Meily and the late Ida Mae (Herr) Meily.
Surviving are son, Jon T. Williams, wife Laurie of Cornelius, NC, daughter, Nancy Chandler of Gilbertsville, KY; 6 grandchildren, Jon Williams of Three Rivers, MI, Tammy Justice of Kalamazoo, MI, Pamela Williams of Charlotte, NC, Carrie Chandler McLean of Paducah, KY, Andy Chandler of Benton, KY, Pat Chandler of Gilbertsville, KY; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William Meily, and son-in-law, John Chandler.
Memorial Mass will be held Friday May 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Calvert City, KY with Father Anthoni Ottagan officiating.
