Rose Mary Stamm, 97, of Draper, UT, formerly of Paducah, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Beehive Homes in Draper, UT.  She is the widow of Mortimer J. Stamm.

 

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 3, 1919, she was the daughter of Francis Edward Reich and Anna Veronica Jesenowski.  Rose Mary married Mortimer J. Stamm on February 18, 1939.  After the war, they moved to Paducah, KY and raised six children.

 

Rose Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish in Draper, UT.  She will be remembered for the many years she gave of herself in caring for her own children and the many grandchildren that followed.

 

She is survived by four of her six children: Mortimer J. Stamm, Jr., Judith Stamm Puhr, Mary Stamm Childress, and Philip E. Stamm; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

 

She was predeceased by her husband, Mortimer J. Stamm (1978), her daughter, Patricia Stamm Laski (2004), and her son, James R. Stamm (1997).

 

A funeral mass will be held at 11am Wednesday, May 3rd, at St. John Catholic Church with Father XXX officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.

 

Visitation will begin at 10:30am Wednesday at the church.  A reception will be held after the graveside service in the St. John Parish Hall.
