Rosalee Looney, age 76, of Paducah, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Rosalee was born on April 15, 1942 to the late Jess and Mary Upton Penter. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church for over 40 years where she volunteered in the nursery and with Mothers Day Out. She retired from the accounting department of Western Baptist Hospital after 25 years of service. Rosalee will be remembered by those she loved as being a strong Christian woman who was always welcoming, would do anything for anyone, and who loved and adored her grandchildren.
Rosalee is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Looney; her daughter, Djuna Looney of Paducah, KY; her son, Billy Looney of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Bertha Knight of Farmington, MO and Viva Chaffin of Arkadelphia, AR; and her two grandchildren, Shaley Looney and Landon Looney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lorraine Upton and Alice Stahl; and three brothers, J.P. Penter, Sammie Penter, and Z.C. Penter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. E. Lee James and Rev. Mike Nolen officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
