Robert Rodgers Robertson, 75, of Paducah, Kentucky, formerly of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away at 8:46 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Robert was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on August 23, 1944 to Harrison and Edith Robertson. He was a graduate of Lipscomb University, earned his Master’s Degree at Murray State University and taught at Kentucky Wesleyan College. He lovingly served as an Elder at Lone Oak Church of Christ. He retired after 46 years as a partner at Williams, Williams and Lentz. He enjoyed fishing, going to ballgames and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Elizabeth Derryberry Robertson; his daughter, Holly Elizabeth Robertson Losher (John), of Paducah, KY; his sons, Mark Rodgers Robertson (Katie), of Nashville, TN and Matthew Powell Robertson (Dalana), of Nashville, TN; his sisters, Sara Jones, of Venice, FL and Jean Hogan (Bob), of Buford, GA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Losher, Kevin Losher, Anna Losher, Lauren Losher, Rex Robertson, Luci Robertson, Rusty Robertson, Powell Robertson and Cade Robertson.
Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison Rodgers Robertson and Edith Hancock Robertson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Lone Oak Church of Christ with Paul Wingfield and Jamey Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Lone Oak Church of Christ from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019.
