Robert Lee Conner, Sr., age 68, of Paducah, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2018, 10:09 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital.
Robert was a member and oldest deacon at the Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church. He was formerly employed at the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and in security at the local Wal-Mart.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Conner, Jr. and Tony Conner, both of Stockton, CA; one daughter, Theresa Wright of Peru, IN; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Conner of Paducah and Gerald Conner of Columbus, MS; three sisters, Betty Fussell of Metropolis, IL, JoAnn Cawthon of Memphis, TN and Glenda Conner of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee Conner and Mary Haynes Conner, one daughter, Katherine Conner and two sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery
