Richard “Ricky” Powers, 39, of Paducah, died Sunday in Nashville.
Ricky was a graduate of Lone Oak High School where he played football. He was the owner of Powerhouse BBQ and was a judge for Barbeque on the River. Ricky was assistant manager at Paducah Regional Sports Plex.
He is survived by his father, Dickie Wayne Powers and his wife, Ellen Taylor Powers; sisters, Chrissie Henley of Mayfield, KY and Abigail Powers of Paducah, KY; brother, Robbie Powers of Paducah, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Suzann Elliott Powers.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
